About the project

Shapellx (shapellx.co.uk) is a women's shapewear and fashion e-commerce brand.

Shapellx asked us to build its e-commerce presence from the ground up: the online store itself, branding and logo, email marketing campaigns, and its social media accounts from launch, backed by a shared content calendar and a digital strategy.

Website & app

Website

We built Shapellx's site from the ground up, applying our experience in shapewear brand website Dubai projects where the foundation has to support fast-changing product lines without a rebuild every season. We structured the site around flexible collections and landing pages the brand's own team could update without touching code, paired with the brand content — sizing guidance, fabric details, fit philosophy — that a fit-sensitive category depends on to convert. Our priority was a foundation built to scale with new collections rather than one that needed rework every time the catalog changed.

E-commerce

The shopping experience itself came from our shapewear online store Dubai work: product pages built around size charts and fit confidence, a streamlined cart and checkout, and the kind of detail pages that answer a buyer's sizing doubts before she ever has to ask. Fit uncertainty is the single biggest reason shapewear shoppers abandon a cart, so we treated every size-related friction point as a conversion problem to solve directly on the product page, not a support-ticket to handle afterward. The result is a store built specifically for a category where the wrong purchase means a return, not just a refund.

Mobile version

Built on our expertise in shapewear mobile shopping Dubai work, the mobile version carries Shapellx's full catalog, size guidance and checkout onto a phone screen, where the overwhelming majority of fashion e-commerce traffic in this category actually shops — often arriving straight from a social post or an influencer link. We rebuilt the size chart and product gallery specifically to stay usable at phone width, since losing that detail on mobile would undo the exact trust-building work the desktop site was built to do. This is the version carrying most of the store's real traffic today.

Brand identity

Brand identity

Shapellx needed our full shapewear brand identity Dubai treatment from scratch — logo, colour system and tone built to feel confident and body-positive rather than clinical, which is where a lot of shapewear branding misses the mark. We calibrated the visual language to work equally on a product tag, a product photo and an Instagram ad, since this category lives or dies on how a customer feels seeing the brand before she ever tries the product. Our strength here was building a tone that reassures without ever sounding medical or apologetic about what the product actually does.

Strategy & support

Email & WhatsApp marketing

Our shapewear email marketing Dubai campaigns for Shapellx focus on the moments that actually drive repeat purchase in this category — restock alerts, size-specific recommendations, and post-purchase fit follow-ups that catch a customer before she considers a return. We segmented the list by purchase history and sizing rather than treating every subscriber identically, since a generic blast performs far worse in fashion e-commerce than a message that feels like it was written for the specific person reading it. This precision is what makes email a genuine revenue channel here, not just a newsletter nobody opens.

Marketing strategy

Launching an e-commerce brand means every channel has to be ready at once, which is why our e-commerce launch strategy Dubai plan for Shapellx mapped the store, branding, email and social into a single coordinated calendar rather than separate workstreams finishing at different times. We sequenced branding first to give every later asset — product photos, ads, emails — a consistent identity to build from, avoiding the rework that happens when channels launch before the brand itself is finished. Our discipline here is coordination: a launch only performs as well as its weakest unsynced channel.

Social media & acquisition

Social media

We built Shapellx's social accounts from launch as part of our shapewear social proof content Dubai work, built around real fit demonstrations and customer-style content rather than purely aspirational imagery, since this category converts best when the audience can actually picture the product on a body like theirs. We maintained a shared content calendar with the email and paid teams so every channel reinforced the same message instead of working in isolation. Our approach treats social proof as the main job of these accounts — not follower count, but visible evidence the product does what it claims.
