A full relaunch for Buno Toast: new identity, website, content and campaigns for owners Ahmed A. and Wulu.
Buno Toast is a Dubai restaurant built around toasts, owned and run by Ahmed A. and Wulu.
Buno Toast asked us to carry its relaunch from A to Z: a full rebrand, a new website, local SEO, personal branding for owners Ahmed A. and Wulu, strategy, photo and video shoots, social media and paid campaigns, menus, posters, cards and goodies.
Google My Business visits have since doubled, and followers keep climbing.
We built Buno Toast's new site from scratch as part of its full relaunch, drawing on our experience in toast restaurant website Dubai projects where the menu has to sell itself before a visitor ever walks in. The site puts the menu, prices and the story of owners Ahmed A. and Wulu front and center, with a path to visit or order that never asks a hungry visitor to hunt for it. Our focus was speed and clarity over decoration: a toast shop lives on quick decisions, and the site was built to match that pace rather than slow it down.
Built on our expertise in toast shop mobile ordering Dubai work, the mobile version carries the same menu and story onto a phone screen, where most of Buno Toast's actual customers are browsing from — on the street, outside the shop, or scrolling before a delivery order. We rebuilt the layout so the menu reads in one thumb-scroll and the call to order never slips below the fold. This is where our mobile-first approach earns its keep: nothing about the desktop site got simplified away, it was rebuilt specifically for someone deciding what to eat in the next five minutes.
Buno Toast's relaunch under owners Ahmed A. and Wulu called for more than a new logo — it needed our full toast shop rebrand identity Dubai treatment, built to travel from the shopfront sign to every plate, bag and Instagram post without losing coherence. We rebuilt the colour system, typography and tone from zero, calibrated for a casual food brand that still needed to look considered rather than thrown together. Our strength on projects like this is consistency across very different surfaces: a logo that works stamped on a takeaway bag has to work just as well blown up on a shopfront, and that's the standard we held it to.
Every printed touchpoint at Buno Toast needed to carry the new identity, which is where our restaurant menu and print design Dubai work came in — menus, posters, cards and branded goodies, all built from the same visual system rather than designed piece by piece. We paid particular attention to the menu itself, since it's the one printed item every single customer holds and reads closely before ordering. From the dine-in table to the takeaway counter, the goal was the same identity, consistently recognisable, in every format a customer actually touches.
Relaunching an existing restaurant under new branding is riskier than opening fresh — regulars have to recognise the place while new customers discover it for the first time. Our restaurant launch marketing strategy Dubai plan for Buno Toast sequenced every channel around that tension: positioning and local partnerships first to keep existing goodwill intact, then a content and paid calendar built for the actual relaunch date. Our strength here is timing: getting the order of channels right is what let every later campaign build on momentum instead of starting cold.
Food alone doesn't build loyalty the way a face does, which is why our restaurant owner personal branding Dubai work put Ahmed A. and Wulu in front of the camera as much as the toasts themselves. We built content around the people behind the counter — their story, their routine, their reasons for opening Buno Toast — because customers who feel they know the owners come back more often than customers who only know the menu. This is where personal branding earns its place in a food brand's strategy: it turns a restaurant into a relationship, not just a transaction.
Every image on Buno Toast's site and social feed comes from our restaurant food photography Dubai sessions, shot to make each toast look exactly as good as it tastes rather than overly styled or artificial. We photographed the food on location, under the restaurant's own light, alongside portraits of the space and the team, so the visual library feels honest to the actual place a customer is about to walk into. Our focus in food photography is always appetite first: a shot has to make someone hungry within a second of seeing it, or it isn't doing its job.
Beyond still images, our restaurant brand video Dubai work gave Buno Toast motion: footage of the space, the food being prepared, and owners Ahmed A. and Wulu at work, cut into short pieces built for the site and the social feed alike. We focused the camera on process as much as product, because watching toast actually being made builds more trust than any still photo of the finished plate can. This footage now anchors the brand across every channel, giving the restaurant a face and a place rather than just a logo and a menu.
Being the best toast shop in the neighbourhood means nothing if Dubai diners can't find you when they search for one nearby, which is exactly the gap our toast shop Google visibility Dubai work closed for Buno Toast. We optimised the Google Business listing, local keywords and on-page signals so the restaurant surfaces for the searches people actually type when they're hungry and close by, not just for its own name. Our approach favours intent over volume, and that's the gap we closed first.
We've run Buno Toast's toast shop social accounts Dubai presence from the relaunch onward, posting daily and answering every comment and DM in a voice that sounds like the people actually behind the counter. Our approach treats the feed as the main storefront rather than an afterthought — for a casual food brand, social media is often the first place a potential customer meets you, before they ever see the menu. That consistency is what turned social into the main channel through which both regulars and new diners now discover the restaurant.
Our toast shop Meta ads campaign Dubai work turned the relaunch into measurable visits rather than just impressions: Google My Business visits have doubled, and followers keep climbing since the campaigns went live. We tested creative formats and audiences against real foot-traffic and order data, not just clicks, so budget shifted toward whatever was actually driving people through the door. This results-first discipline is what keeps paid media accountable on a tight restaurant margin, where every dirham spent needs to show up in covers, not just reach.
