This is the second part of our guide. Part 1, on social media branding in Dubai, covered the numbers, the eight problems that cost the most and the practices that work. This part is about the decision and the budget: who needs an agency, what one actually does, and the real social media marketing cost in Dubai.
Who needs a social media branding agency in Dubai?
Hospitality, restaurants and cafés that live on visual appeal and word of mouth.
Real estate developers and brokerages that need credibility and project storytelling.
Retail, fashion, beauty and e-commerce brands that sell directly through social.
Clinics, wellness and fitness brands that need trust and compliant content.
Professional services and B2B companies that need thought leadership on LinkedIn.
Founders, executives and experts who want a strong personal brand connected to their company, as described above.
Events, tourism and entertainment brands that need to create excitement and sell tickets or experiences.
Who works on your account? A small senior team: a brand and social strategist, a creative director, a content creator and copywriter in your languages, a community manager, a paid social specialist, and our photo and video crew.
What a social media branding agency actually does
1. Brand strategy and social identity
Positioning, personality, tone of voice, content pillars and a visual identity designed for social, documented in a brand book. Our branding team and graphic design studio make your brand recognisable at a glance.
2. Content strategy and editorial calendar
Monthly themes, campaigns, formats and posting rhythm for each platform, aligned with your business goals, launches and local occasions.
3. Photo and video production
Reels, stories, product shoots, lifestyle content, interviews, behind-the-scenes and event coverage, produced by our in-house production team at the rhythm social media requires.
4. Copywriting in several languages
Captions, scripts, hooks and ad copy in English, Arabic and French, written natively rather than translated. Our copywriting and content team keeps your voice consistent everywhere.
5. Community management
Replies to comments and messages, moderation, engagement with your community and escalation to sales or customer service, within agreed response times.
6. Influencer and creator collaborations
Selection, briefing, contracts, permits and measurement. Our influencer marketing team connects you with creators whose audience matches your customers. Our content and influencer marketing article covers this in depth.
7. Paid social advertising
Campaigns on Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and LinkedIn that amplify your best content and turn attention into enquiries and sales. Our performance team runs them with clear business objectives.
8. Social commerce and conversion
Shoppable posts, catalogue integration, WhatsApp click-to-chat and landing pages connected to your website and CRM. Our web team and automation team make sure social attention leads somewhere.
9. Analytics and reporting
Monthly reports on awareness, engagement, community growth, conversations, leads and sales, with clear recommendations for the next month.
How we work: our 6-step method
Step 1 – Audit (weeks 1–2). We review your accounts, content, audience, competitors, response times and results, and interview your team and a few customers.
Step 2 – Brand and strategy. Positioning, tone, content pillars, visual identity for social and platform priorities.
Step 3 – Content system. Templates, formats, editorial calendar, approval process and the first shooting day.
Step 4 – Launch. A refreshed profile, highlights and bio, the first content batch and community management rules.
Step 5 – Amplify. Paid social, creator collaborations and cross-promotion with your website, email and WhatsApp.
Step 6 – Measure and refine. Monthly reviews of what works, new tests and continuous improvement of formats.
What the first 90 days typically look like:
- Days 1 to 30: audit, brand and content strategy, visual identity for social, profile optimisation, first shooting day and the first two weeks of content.
- Days 31 to 60: regular publishing on priority platforms, community management in place, first creator collaboration, and paid amplification of the best-performing posts.
- Days 61 to 90: refinement of formats based on data, a second production batch, a campaign around a key date or launch, and a clear view of which content drives conversations and sales.
The metrics we track together:
| Metric | What it tells you | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Reach in target audience | How many relevant people see you | Awareness that matters |
| Engagement and saves | How useful or entertaining content is | Signals quality to algorithms |
| Shares | How often people recommend your content | Organic growth |
| Profile visits and link clicks | Interest beyond the post | First step to action |
| Conversations started | DMs and WhatsApp chats from social | Direct sales opportunities |
| Response time | Speed of replies to comments and DMs | Customer experience and conversion |
| Leads and sales from social | Business results | The final measure |
Our experience
Hello World began in Morocco as a two-person studio and became a communication and advertising agency of around thirty people, with more than 250 clients and offices in Marrakech, Casablanca and London. Since 2023 we have been based in Dubai Silicon Oasis, and we were invited to present our work at GITEX 2023. Our founder and CEO, Hamid Kennou, has been building digital brands for more than sixteen years.
In Dubai, we have created brand guidelines and social media presences for real estate and luxury brands such as Treasures Real Estate, Le Monde Real Estate, MNA Properties and Demtco, where we managed social media to expand their reach and build a strong brand image. We also manage day-to-day Instagram and TikTok content for food and lifestyle brands. The CEO of Treasures International told us that we exceeded their expectations when we created the Treasures brand, from brand guidelines to website and social media presence.
A few of the brands we work with:
- Buno Toast: digital strategy, social media, video, photo, advertising and branding.
- Bowbo (fashion and streetwear): social media marketing and web design.
- 1718 Café (café and restaurant): website, social media management, copywriting, lead generation, advertising and photography.
- Qatar Boat Show (events and yachting): web design, professional photo shoot and video production.
- Ahsan Farooq Barlas (finance and trading, personal branding): website and mobile version, social media management and video shoot.
- Franck Muller (luxury watchmaking): photo and video shoots.
- Noorai: full digital strategy, photo and video shoots, website and SEO.
- Sahla Tax (tax and accounting): branding, website, social media and content.

The value we add
1. Brand first, then content. We build a recognisable identity before filling the calendar.
2. In-house production. Photo, video and design under one roof, so content stays consistent and fast.
3. Business results. We connect social media to enquiries, bookings and sales.
4. Multilingual and culturally aware. English, Arabic and French in-house, with respect for local values.
5. Real community management. Fast, human replies that protect your reputation and win customers.
6. Transparency and ownership. Your accounts, content and data belong to you.
7. A human relationship. Every request answered by a real person within 24 hours.
How much does a social media branding agency cost in Dubai?
Costs depend on the number of platforms, posting frequency, production needs, languages, community management volume and paid budget. A typical budget includes:
- Brand and strategy work, usually a one-off project at the start.
- Monthly management fees for planning, content creation, publishing, community management and reporting.
- Production days for photo and video.
- Paid social budget, paid directly to the platforms and always visible to you.
- Influencer fees, when relevant.
Our site offers social media packs based on the number of channels managed, for example two channels such as Instagram and LinkedIn for a starting brand, four channels for growing brands and six channels for businesses that want social media to become a revenue engine. Our published packs: The Pilot Social Pulse (from AED 3,500 per month, two channels such as Instagram and LinkedIn, minimum two-month commitment, reserved for brands under two years old), The Commander Social Stream (from AED 8,500 per month, four channels, minimum three months) and The Astronaut Social Universe (from AED 15,000 per month, six channels, minimum three months). The advertising budget is added to the fee. The first step, a social media audit, is free.
A simple way to think about value: if social media brings you 20 qualified conversations a month and 1 in 5 becomes a customer worth AED 3,000, social is generating AED 12,000 in monthly revenue. Improving content and response time to convert 1 in 4 adds another AED 3,000 a month without spending more on ads.
When should you hire a social media branding agency?
Before a launch or rebrand. First impressions on social are hard to undo.
When your accounts look inconsistent or outdated.
When you post regularly but nothing happens. It is usually a strategy, format or distribution issue.
When your team has no time to create and respond.
When you want social media to bring business, not just likes.
Timing: a refreshed brand and profile can be live within weeks; engagement improves within one to three months; a strong, recognisable brand builds over six to twelve months of consistency.
7 mistakes we see brands make on social media in Dubai
- Using only stock photos and generic visuals. They make you look like everyone else.
- Copying trends that don't fit the brand.
- Posting the same content everywhere. Each platform has its own language.
- Ignoring comments and messages, especially in the evening and on weekends.
- Working with influencers without permits or audience checks.
- Forgetting Arabic content.
- Judging success only on followers.
How to choose the right social media branding agency in Dubai
- Can you show brands you've built, not just accounts you've posted for?
- Do you produce photo and video in-house?
- Who writes Arabic content, and is it native?
- How do you handle community management and response times?
- How do you connect social media to leads and sales?
- How do you manage influencer permits and compliance?
- Will we own all accounts and content?
Frequently asked questions
Why hire a social media branding agency in Dubai?
Because building a brand on social media requires strategy, design, production, multilingual writing, community management and advertising working together. An agency brings that team and keeps your brand consistent and growing.
What is the difference between social media management and social media branding?
Management is about publishing and replying. Branding is about building a distinctive identity, story and reputation, so that every post strengthens how people see and remember you. We do both, starting with the brand.
Which social media platforms should my business use in the UAE?
It depends on your audience: Instagram and TikTok for most consumer brands, LinkedIn for B2B and professional services, Snapchat for young Gulf audiences, YouTube for depth, and WhatsApp for conversations. Start with two or three and do them well.
How much does social media management cost in Dubai?
It depends on platforms, frequency, production and community management. Most budgets combine a strategy phase, monthly management, production days and paid amplification. Our free audit helps define the right scope.
How long does it take to see results?
A refreshed presence can be live within weeks, engagement typically improves within one to three months, and a strong brand builds over six to twelve months.
Do you create content in Arabic?
Yes, written natively by Arabic speakers, alongside English and French.
Can you manage our comments and DMs?
Yes, with agreed response times, brand-aligned replies and escalation to your sales or customer service team.
Do influencers need a permit in the UAE?
Since February 2026, the UAE Media Council has required individuals who advertise on social media to hold an advertiser permit. We check permits for every collaboration.
How often should a brand post on social media?
Quality and consistency matter more than volume. For most brands in Dubai, three to five strong posts a week on Instagram or TikTok, daily stories and two to three posts a week on LinkedIn for B2B are a good base. We adjust according to your resources and results.
Should we use AI to create social media content?
AI can speed up ideas, scripts, captions, translations and some visuals, and we use it where it helps. But brand-building content needs real people, real places and real stories. We combine AI efficiency with human creativity and in-house production, and we always review content for accuracy and cultural fit.
Do we keep ownership of our accounts and content?
Always. Your accounts, content, brand assets and data belong to you.
Ready to build a brand people remember?
In Dubai, everyone is on social media. The brands that win are the ones people recognise instantly, trust quickly and choose easily. If you want a partner who builds your brand, produces your content and turns attention into business, let's talk.
